The FTSE 100 Futures are trading at 7,666.50 for up with +3.00 percent or +0.04% point. The CAC 40 Futures are trading at 5,474.50 for up with +1.15%  percent or +62.50  point . The DAX Futures are trading at 13,372.50 for up  with  +0.28% percent or +37.00 point . The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures are trading at 3,598.00 for up with +1.18%  percent or +42.00 point.


the FTSE 100 finished the week at a new record high. But its 0.4% rise today was smaller than the gains seen by major European stock markets.

Germany’s Dax and France’s Cac enjoyed bigger increases, as they have done for most of the week – the Dax rising by 1.2% and the Cac finishing the day 1.1% higher.

“International stock markets are riding high at the moment, driven by continued strength in the US and the prospect of global growth picking up,” said Hargreaves Lansdown analyst Laith Khalaf.

“However the FTSE was held back compared to European counterparts thanks to two of the biggest companies in the market, HSBC and Shell, exerting downward pressure to the benchmark index.”

For the day the FTSE 100 closed at 7,724.22  for up with +0.37% percent or +28.34 point. France’s CAC 40 closed at 5,470.75  for up with +1.05% percent or  +57.06 point. Germany’s DAX closed at 13,319.64  for up with +1.15% percent or  +151.75 point.


For the day the Dow are trading at 25,295.87  for up with +0.88% percent or  +220.74 point. The S&P 500 are trading at 2,743.15 for up with +0.70% percent or +19.16 point. The Nasdaq Composite are trading at 7,136.56 for up with  +0.83% percent or  +58.64 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 are trading at 23,714.53 for up with +0.89% percent or +208.20 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng are trading at 30,806.19   with a loss of -0.03% percent or  -8.45 point. China’s Shanghai Composite are trading at 3,405.81 for up with +0.41% percent or +14.06 point. India’s BSE Sensex are trading at 34,347.01 for up with +0.57% percent or +193.16 point at 12:15 PM.
