FTSE Futures Morning Update on 06 October

UK PRE MARKET

The FTSE 100 Futures are trading at 7,484.80 for up with +0.19% percent or +14.00 point. The CAC 40 Futures are trading at 5,368.50  with a loss of -0.14%  percent or -7.50  point . The DAX Futures are trading at 12,978.00 for up with  +0.18% percent or +23.50 point . The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures are trading at 3,598.00 with a loss of -0.11% percent or -4.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

London stocks were inching very modestly higher at the open on Friday, with investors reluctant to make any bold moves either way ahead of the latest non-farm payrolls report.At 0830 BST, the FTSE 100 was up 0.1% to 7,513.12, while the pound was down 0.3% against the dollar at 1.3080 and 0.1% weaker versus the euro at 1.1190, still weighed down by political uncertainty following Prime Minister Theresa May’s speech at the Tory party conference.

Spreadex analyst Connor Campbell said: “While on Thursday there was a web of reasons why the pound was driven lower, this Friday’s decline seems to have a more singular reason behind it: Tory infighting.

For the day the FTSE 100 closed at 7,525.96  for up with +0.24% percent or +17.97  point. France’s CAC 40 closed at 5,372.19  with a loss of –0.13% percent or  –7.01 point. Germany’s DAX closed at 12,991.08 for up with +0.18%percent or  +23.03  point.

For the day the Dow are trading at 22,775.39  for up with +0.50% percent or +113.75 point. The S&P 500 are trading at 2,552.07  for up with +0.56% percent or  +14.33 point. The Nasdaq Composite are trading at 6,585.36 for up  with +0.78% percent or +50.73 point.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng are trading at 28,458.04  for up with  +0.28% percent or  +78.86 point. China’s Shanghai Composite are trading at 3,348.94   for up with  +0.28%  percent or  +9.30  point. India’s BSE Sensex are trading at 31,814.22   for up with  +0.70%  percent or  +222.19 point at 12:15 PM .
