FTSE Futures Morning Update on 04 October

UK PRE MARKET

The FTSE 100 Futures are trading at 7,426.80 for up with +0.05% percent or ++3.80 point. The CAC 40 Futures are trading at 5,360.00   with a loss of -0.19%  percent or -10.00  point . The DAX Futures are trading at 12,939.50 for up with +0.42% percent or +54.00 point . The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures are trading at 3,592.00   with a loss of  -0.11% percent or -4.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

London stocks were set to edge lower at the open on Wednesday as investors eyed a key reading on the UK services sector and a speech by Prime Minister Theresa May at the Conservative party conference.The FTSE 100 was expected to open eight points lower at 7,460, with Markit’s services purchasing managers’ index due at 0930 BST.

CMC Markets analyst Michael Hewson said that if the services data is as weak as the construction PMI on Tuesday, it could make the case for a rate hike by the end of the year a little more uncertain as we come to the end of the third quarter.

For the day the Dow are trading at 22,641.67  for up with +0.37% percent or +84.07 point. The S&P 500 are trading at 2,534.58   for up with +0.22% percent or  +5.46 point. The Nasdaq Composite are trading at 6,531.71 for up  with +0.23% percent or +15.00 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 are trading at 20,626.66 for up with +0.06% percent or +12.59 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng are trading at 28,366.59  for up with  +0.69% percent or  +193.38 point. China’s Shanghai Composite are trading at 3,348.94   for up with  +0.28%0 percent or  +9.30  point. India’s BSE Sensex are trading at 31,677.76  for up with  +0.57%  percent or +180.38 point at 12:15 PM .
