The FTSE 100 Futures are trading at 7,486.50 for up with +0.07% percent . The CAC 40 Futures are trading at 5,334.80 with a loss of -0.49%   percent . The DAX Futures are trading at 12,757.00 with a loss of -0.34% percent. The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures are trading at 3,603.0with  a loss of -0.50% percent .


Stocks on the Continent moved off the 21-month highs hit during the previous session amid a political furore around US president Donald Trump’s alleged mishandling of sensitive intelligence that sent the greenback hurtling to six-month lows.

By the closing bell, the benchmark Stoxx 600 was drifting 0.02% lower at 395.91, alongside a dip in Germany’s Dax of 0.02% to 12,804.53 and a fall of 0.21% in the Cac-40 to 5,400.22.

Mixed economic data in the States also weighed on shares.

Overnight, The Washington Post reported Donald Trump had breached the trust of one of its allies by revealing information regarding a possible Isis plot to target airliners by using laptop computers.


For the day the FTSE 100 closed at 7,519.96 with a loss of –0.03% percent. France’s CAC 40 closed at 5,376.76 with a loss of –0.54% percent. Germany’s DAX closed at 12,756.43 with a loss of 0.38% percent.


For the day the Dow are trading at 20,979.75 with a loss of  0.01% percent. The S&P 500 are trading at 2,400.67 with a loss of  0.07% percent. The Nasdaq Composite are trading at 6,169.87 for up with  0.33% percent.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 are trading at 19,814.88 with a loss of 0.53% percent. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng are trading at 25,300.07 with a loss of –0.14% percent. China’s Shanghai Composite are trading at 3,104.44 with a loss of –0.27% percent. India’s S&P BSE Sensex are trading at 30,641.82 for up with  0.19% percent as on 01:23 PM .
