European shares are set for a mixed open on Tuesday as markets take a breather after Monday’s rally, although the U.K.’s FTSE 100 is set to open higher after a public holiday.

According to IG, the FTSE is called up 24 points at 6,840, the German Dax is seen lower by 13 points at 9,880 and the French CAC is seen down 17 points at 4,510.
